Job Summary
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining all equipment in the plant, addressing emergency breakdowns and repairs promptly, and performing preventative maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates should have a basic knowledge of the facility's compressed air, water systems, and electrical distribution. Skills required include basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and fabricating along with competency in using diagnostic tools. You are expected to maintain high safety standards and complete routine assignments with minimal supervision while documenting all maintenance activities accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
- Hands-on experience with basic tools and diagnostic equipment
- Possess basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic welding and fabricating skills
- Adequate computer skills to use SAP to generate work orders, track labor, and consume materials
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and basic programming knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Technical Skills Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools
- Understanding of motor control systems and circuit design
- Basic knowledge of automation technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
