Job Summary
Plant Maintenance Technician responsible for monitoring and maintaining all plant systems and equipment (including balers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings). Responds to system failures, performs preventive maintenance, inspects third-party repairs, and recommends improvements to production, equipment performance, and product quality. Must adhere to WM Safety and OSHA rules, manage multiple priorities, and support occasional night/weekend schedules to align with production needs. Includes a focus on safe operations, a clean work environment, and the ability to operate under limited supervision. Applicable to a manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to field and shop environments.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical.
