Job Summary
Performs troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance. Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance; report findings. Perform corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs. Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time. Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system. Respond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk, and communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager. Training during onboarding may occur on the 3rd shift with differential pay. The Company does not sponsor for employment-based visas for this position now or in the future. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Electrical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in electricity
- Five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience
- Welding experience with MIG and/or arc welders
- Knowledge of NEC requirements
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot control circuits, motors, and electrical/electronic systems
- Ability to interpret gauges, tools, and instruments for product quality
- Willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, overtime and weekends as required
- Experience with PLCs and drives
- Experience reading service manuals and blueprints
- Safety and housekeeping skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
