Job Summary
Troubleshoot, install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on industrial corrugating equipment and machinery to prevent downtime. Analyze and fix mechanical and electrical problems in plant machinery while ensuring all process equipment meets operational requirements. Complete regular PMs, follow safety policies, and report incidents immediately. Read schematics to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems, working within specifications to minimize waste. Perform other corrective and preventive maintenance duties assigned by the supervisor. This role supports a forward-thinking, family-oriented team at an industry leader in corrugated manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5+ years' experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software & network configuration, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, working knowledge of PLC's and motors
- Knowledge of computer and automated machines
- Strong maintenance electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes
- Computer competence and experience with the Microsoft suite
- High school diploma or GED
- Detail-oriented, organized and dependable with time management skills
- Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety
