Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment including tempering furnaces, cutting systems, and assembly lines. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and respond promptly to unplanned downtime using diagnostic tools and multimeters. Diagnose faults across mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls systems while ensuring all work complies with OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures. Document work orders in CMMS, initiate purchase requisitions for spare parts, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve reliability. Requires hands-on industrial maintenance experience, proficiency with pneumatics and industrial electrical systems, and ability to work a rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule. Paid training period provided Monday through Friday for approximately four weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and/or electrical) in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, industrial electrical systems, controls (PLC/HMI exposure a plus), and mechanical processes
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and multimeters
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work the rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, including weekends per rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or vocational certificate in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related trade preferred — equivalent hands-on experience or military maintenance background welcomed
- Familiarity with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems preferred
