Job Summary
Perform maintenance, electrical functions, and troubleshooting on industrial corrugating plant machinery to prevent equipment downtime. Complete regular preventive maintenance programs, analyze mechanical and electrical problems, and ensure all process equipment meets operational requirements. Follow safety policies, report incidents immediately, and complete monthly online safety training. Work within specifications and drawings to minimize waste while executing corrective and preventive maintenance duties assigned by the supervisor. Requires 3-5 years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, and motor control in a manufacturing environment. Hourly rate between $28 and $45 for 2nd and 3rd shift roles.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5+ years' experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software & network configuration, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, working knowledge of PLC's and motors
- Knowledge of computer and automated machines
- Strong maintenance electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes
- High school diploma or GED
- Detail-oriented, organized and dependable with time management skills
- Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety
- Computer competence and experience with the Microsoft suite
- The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates
- The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team
