Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and systems to minimize downtime while adhering to safety protocols. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on plastic injection molding equipment, and identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems effectively. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate schedules, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and assist in managing parts inventory. Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reliability. Requires four years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and industrial electrical work, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in plastic injection molding.
- 4 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems relevant to industrial machinery.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues swiftly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments while supporting the overall maintenance team's objectives.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with colleagues, management, and vendors.
