Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete repairs to keep all machinery operating safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records, follow Lockout/Tagout procedures, and support facility upkeep while using technical prints and precision tools for high-quality work. Train department personnel on proper equipment use and manage inventory of supplies and materials. Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings; operate maintenance machinery including lathes and drill presses; and perform gas, brazing, soldering, and electric welding. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- two to five years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- preferably in the folding carton industry
- manufacturing maintenance experience
- ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and verbal instructions in English
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
