Job Summary

Maintain the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Oliver Winery's production, bottling, packaging, facility, and utility systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment improvements. Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, sensors, and industrial control devices while executing mechanical repairs on pumps, valves, and precision machines. Utilize the CMMS to complete work orders, document repairs, and record equipment history, then promptly respond to breakdowns as requested by all departments. Work with the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance schedules are current and communicate effectively with vendors and contractors. This full-time, hourly position includes occasional night and weekend work, with one weekend on-call rotation each month.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Four years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, food processing, beverage production, bottling, brewery, winery, pharmaceutical, or similar automated production environments
  • Demonstrated success troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems including 120V, 240V, and 480V equipment
  • Basic PLC, HMI, industrial controls, and VFD troubleshooting experience
  • Experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Ability to lift or move at least 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to safely work from ladders, aerial lifts, and elevated work platforms
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Strong understanding of industrial preventive maintenance principles
  • Ability to safely utilize electrical test equipment, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Reads and interprets electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
  • Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to regularly lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Available to be 'on-call' one weekend each month
  • Ability to observe others and the work environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Four years of industrial maintenance experience preferred in manufacturing, food processing, beverage production, bottling, brewery, winery, pharmaceutical, or similar automated production environments
