Job Summary
Respond to trouble calls on industrial equipment including extruders, rewinders, printing presses, chillers, and air compressors. Repair and maintain machinery, facilities, and systems while prioritizing critical work orders and performing preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire systems. Coordinate with internal and external specialists for complex repairs and schedule maintenance to minimize operational disruptions. Report project status and completion changes to management. Requires 2 to 4 years of experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and understanding mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and web handling equipment. Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years' experience with machinery, equipment, internal/external facilities maintenance
- Understand and apply knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics
- Experience with various types of pumps, bearings, gearboxes, cylinders, alignment techniques
- Experience with web handling equipment
- Ability to work well with engineers, mechanics, machine operators, other electricians, and management
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician or Millwright or associate degree in related field
- Experience troubleshooting/repairing industrial equipment
