Job Summary
Establish and maintain all manufacturing equipment within production areas, performing basic facility repairs to complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Execute assigned Preventative Maintenance Plans and support the PM program to reduce unscheduled downtime while participating in Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures. Install, operate, and repair high-voltage (480 volts) systems, pneumatic controls, and motors, utilizing proper measurement tools and calibration techniques. Train operators on maintenance techniques and document all activities within the CMMS system. Participate as a Maintenance Lead for assigned area teams and support Line Centric Teams. Work the night shift (8pm - 4am) with a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus, or completion of a two-year technical degree with relevant hands-on experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
- Proven experience with NPN/PNP sensors and VFDs in complex automation and control systems
- Must have Forklift License or able to complete required training within 90 days of hire
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be willing to work overtime including weekends if necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
- Have good verbal, written communication, and mathematical skills (ability to deal tactfully and courteously/interdepartmentally as well as with co-workers and vendors)
- Working Knowledge of Ovens, bakery equipment, and packaging equipment
- AIB Bakery Equipment training course is helpful
