Job Summary
Conduct broad maintenance activities ranging from basic facility repairs to complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of production equipment. Perform installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage (480 volts) systems, including pneumatic, electronic, and process control systems. Execute assigned Preventative Maintenance Plans to reduce unscheduled downtime and participate in Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures. Train operators on maintenance techniques and document all work activities within the CMMS system. Work night shift hours (8pm - 4am) with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus, or completion of a two-year technical degree with relevant hands-on experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
- Proven experience with NPN/PNP sensors and VFDs in complex automation and control systems
- Must have Forklift License or able to complete required training within 90 days of hire
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be willing to work overtime including weekends if necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
- Have good verbal, written communication, and mathematical skills (ability to deal tactfully and courteously/interdepartmentally as well as with co-workers and vendors)
- Working Knowledge of Ovens, bakery equipment, and packaging equipment
- AIB Bakery Equipment training course is helpful
