Job Summary
Conduct repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on production and engineering operations, specifically gas manifolds and chemical processing equipment. Execute the Preventative Maintenance Program, Monitoring and Measuring Devices Program, and component rebuilds and calibrations. Assist in promoting safety, organize work instructions, and participate in emergency response teams while wearing full-face respirators or ER suits. Recommend spare parts inventory levels and write purchase requisitions. Requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ability to read P&ID drawings, and adherence to strict safety protocols including drug screening and background checks. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years Industrial Maintenance experience, preferably in the chemical industry or an industry related to fluid systems
- Gas (Pressure) system component theory and operation
- Basic electronic, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills
- General Maintenance skills
- Tube bending skills
- Able to read and construct from a P&ID or Engineering drawing
- Able to lift 50lbs. and climb ladders
- Effective communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Ability to medically pass a respiratory test and physical test to wear a full-face respirator as required
- Ability to wear a full-face tight-fitting respirator and a fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suit, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), or any other tight-fitting and/or supplied air respirators (SAR)
- Must be and remain clean shaven at all times
