Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician IV on 1st shift performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure bakery equipment runs safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting; rebuilding drive components (clutches, brakes); wiring and diagnosing electrical components; troubleshooting PLCs and servo drives; updating electrical and mechanical schematics; performing preventive maintenance; using SAP for parts and data entry; maintaining a clean, safe work environment; and adhering to company policies. Requires strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to participate in ongoing training. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; a technical/trade certification is a plus; 4+ years of related technician experience. The role emphasizes safety, proper tool usage, and adherence to EEO/Sarbanes-Oxley and other policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus
- 4+ years of experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field
- Ability to climb ladders to 20 feet, lift up to 50 pounds, crawl under machinery
- Knowledge of electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe)
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components; rebuild mechanical drive components; troubleshoot PLC components; use SAP for parts checkout
