Job Summary
Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks and execute scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. Respond to equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns by troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing worn parts, motors, and control devices. Operate machine shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools to make required parts, while maintaining work area cleanliness and complying with all safety policies and procedures. Rotate job assignments throughout engineering and production areas. Salary range is $30.77. Full-time employees receive comprehensive health benefits, 401(k), and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- No less than a 9/12 month vocational/technical certification courses
- Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or two or more years of college education
- Proficiency in the use of SAP including data input, data retrieval, reporting, and other functions
- Demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality
- Possession of or capability to acquire licenses required by city or state to work with boilers, refrigeration and various other job related equipment
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years experience as a Technician and/or formal training or experience
- Experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
- Experience in welding
- Experience in electronics
- Experience in electrical repairs
- Experience in industrial equipment installations
- Experience in alignment
- Experience in start-up repairs
