Job Summary
Conduct repairs, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facility. Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizers, and related equipment while performing mold, neck tooling, and pin changes. Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves, and pumps, and weld, fabricate, and repair various machines. Troubleshoot root problems on blow mold, baggers, and support equipment, and operate blow mold or injection machines as needed. Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, and applicable laws. Communicate frequently with other departments and receive instructions from the Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced mathematical skills
- Advanced computer experience
- Five plus years' equivalent machine operator experience
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current OSHA forklift certification
- Completion of Altium Industrial Maintenance Technician II training
- Reasonable mandatory overtime
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a loud environment
- Must be able to work in fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold)
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
