Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician II on 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm, Mon-Fri) at Caterpillar in Boonville, MO. Responsibilities include implementing the PM program as directed by Planner/Scheduler, collaborating with maintenance technicians on breakdowns, utilities, and projects, using PM to proactively control machine uptime, performing log out / tag out, conducting routing oil filtration/removal and filter changes on presses, plastic and rubber molding machinery, and managing oil analysis; requires safety-focused operation with minimal supervision. Requires at least a high school education (preferred) and mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical principles for three-phase motors and the ability to troubleshoot CNC machines, welding equipment, and overhead cranes. Required Qualifications
- High school education and previous experience preferred
- Must successfully complete targeted selection interview
- Mechanical aptitude and a desire to use mechanical ability to help the maintenance department maintain machine uptime and PM adherence
- Knowledge of basic principles of machinery and equipment operation
- Knowledge of electrical principles of three-phase motors and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems on CNC machines, welding equipment, and overhead crane
