Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for machine maintenance and troubleshooting electrical systems, installing fixtures and motors, troubleshooting controls and wiring, repairing lighting and power circuitry, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, managing material orders and records, and ensuring equipment reliability with adherence to safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years experience in electrical maintenance/installation.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED with technical or trade courses required.
- Knowledge of State and Local electrical codes.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems a plus.
- Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use hand and shop tools.
- Proven mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Mechanical experience in either manufacturing or related areas.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality, required.
- Steam boiler operation experience, desirable.
