Industrial Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

Job Summary
Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the Charlotte, NC facility while operating power tools, electric tools, and precision equipment. Execute welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox maintenance, and lubrication system repairs, reading schematics and modifying equipment as needed. Document activities in maintenance management software, operate forklifts and aerial lifts, and adhere to safety regulations for confined spaces and elevated work. Collaborate with peers to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Requires 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience across at least two trades, including hydraulics, pneumatics, or welding.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience
- Demonstrated experience in at least 1–2 maintenance trades (mechanical, electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
- Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school certification or degree in a maintenance-related field
- Military maintenance experience
- Experience in food production environments
- Experience with precision maintenance (laser alignment, dial indication)
- Knowledge of safe work practices such as PJHA and confined space procedures
