Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations across Rhoads Industries’ business lines. Roles include inspecting, installing, and repairing interior/exterior wiring systems, electrical fixtures, and lighting; troubleshooting lighting and heavy machinery systems; assembling electrical components; compiling material lists; coordinating multiple projects to meet deadlines; maintaining a clean shop and providing cross-functional support while adhering to safety and ISO 9000 standards related to tools and equipment. The position requires adaptability for overtime, a valid driver's license, and strong written/verbal communication to collaborate with project teams and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant technical certification or associate degree in industrial mechanics, maintenance technology, or a related field preferred
- minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial/industrial electrical setting
- valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10 certificate within 90 days of hire
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background checks including Motor Vehicle Check and drug screening
- strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
- familiarity with ISO, UL Certifications, and electrical codes
