Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment used in flour milling, grain handling, and food production operations. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and install or rebuild production equipment. Interpret technical drawings, document work in the CMMS, and safely operate maintenance tools. Support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while adhering to safety, food safety, GMP, and HACCP policies. Work mostly during day hours with some overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed, including on-call rotations and emergency callouts. This role requires physical stamina, ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency callouts as required
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
- Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to wear PPE
