Job Summary
Install, repair, maintain, and refurbish grain handling equipment such as conveyors and bulk commodity legs using mechanical, electrical, PLC, welding, and fabrication skills. Perform duties across various trades including hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, and concrete work while responding to extended hours and short-notice callbacks. Work in tight spaces, at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds while adhering to safety regulations and wearing provided PPE. This hands-on role supports Bartlett's grain storage and transportation operations in Kansas City, KS.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must have the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
- Must be able to wear PPE
- Must adhere to Safety Regulation: SAV SS
