Job Summary
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment while diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Troubleshoot PLC program logic, read schematics and blueprints, and fabricate or repair components, wiring, and control systems. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and participate in Lean and 5S initiatives. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status to leadership. Follow all safety procedures and company policies while cross-training teammates as needed. Work 10-hour shifts from 1:30 PM to 1:30 AM on Mondays and Thursdays with overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- PLC programming and automation controls
- CNC machinery repair and maintenance
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as production demands
- Physical Requirements: regular standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
- Welding and fabrication
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior experience with maintenance management software (AMMS or similar)
