Job Summary
Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on industrial textile processing equipment, water systems, and facility infrastructure. Troubleshoot electrical issues, including 3-phase 230-volt systems, and respond to daily maintenance requests to minimize downtime. Provide emergency repairs, diagnose problems, replace parts, and study blueprints to determine correct machinery operation. Transport equipment and parts, adhere strictly to safety protocols, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or other safety violations
- Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience
- Specific knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welder and boiler applications
- Proficiency in the proper use of power and hand tools
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phase 230 volt systems
- PLC programming experience
- Experience in carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility repairs
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to comprehend and follow direction
- Ability to perform basic math
- Good time management
- Team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done
- Self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement
- High school graduate or equivalency
- Relevant certifications, a boiler license or PLC programming (at some locations)
