Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant machinery while performing preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Install, modify, and service electrical wiring, conduits, and control systems, and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for complex industrial environments. Assist with fabrication, plumbing, welding, and other general maintenance duties as needed while adhering to OSHA, fire, and electrical safety codes. Maintain accurate records of work and complete monthly online safety training. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience and strong skills in AC/DC motor control, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. This 2nd shift role supports smooth plant operations through collaboration with teammates, management, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent technical school training combined with work experience
- Strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, including AC/DC motor control, PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read schematics and perform precise troubleshooting
- Familiarity with networked systems and industrial computer hardware/software
