Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd Shift responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance of machinery and equipment. Performs troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic production equipment, welding (ARC/MIG/TIG) as needed, electrical wiring and lighting system maintenance, and repairs building electrical issues. Reads schematics and specifications to diagnose problems; operates lifts and overhead crane; follows lock out tag out and safety policies; collaborates with maintenance staff and responds to daily work orders; emphasizes safety, reliability, and proactive problem solving to ensure equipment reliability and safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of maintenance certificate program from either a two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment required
- Knowledge of CNC machines, distributed control systems, and logic controllers required
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control system
- Ability to work with low voltage systems
- Experience with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) work preferred
- Troubleshooting / critical thinking skills
