Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician sought to troubleshoot and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all equipment, including automated process control, Electrical-Mechanical machinery, and factory support systems (e.g., compressed air, emergency lighting, dust collection). Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, collaborating with Production IT and Engineering to prevent downtime, interfacing with leads/operators to resolve equipment issues, implementing programs to decrease downtime and improve efficiency, conducting root-cause analysis, using KPIs to improve uptime, and applying knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime, and participate in on-call rotations. Education: High School diploma or GED; 2-year Electro/Mechanical coursework preferred; 1-2 years machining experience; 5 years manufacturing experience. Compensation includes $28-$35 hourly pay with annual bonus and comprehensive benefits. Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois, USA. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- 2 year completion of Electro/Mechanical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred
- 1 -2 years’ experience in general machining (lathe, milling, grinding)
- 5 years of manufacturing experience required
- Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and overtime
- On-call rotation required
- Requires normal hand, eye, and walking coordination
- Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop
