Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical equipment in a high-energy production facility. Diagnose and troubleshoot VFDs and servo drives, adjusting parameters and replacing devices as needed. Perform preventive maintenance, complete shop records, and respond quickly to requests from maintenance leadership and manufacturing operations. Execute welding and plumbing tasks, operate motorized equipment like scissor lifts and forklifts, and adhere to safe work methods including LOTO and PPE. Work in loud environments with potential exposure to hot, cold, and wet conditions, often requiring overtime, weekends, and shift changes.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman with 1 or more years of experience in Electrical or Mechanical trades
- Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical field with at least 2 years of current, hands-on working experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Technical training with military service and 5 years' experience in general maintenance in a industrial/manufacturing environment
- 5 years of current, hands-on working maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 86 lbs.
- Must be able to carry 62 lbs.
- Must be able to push/pull 75 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with 480V, 220V, 120V, and low volt DC electrical controls and systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- PLC experience
- Understanding of PLC logic, performing minor editing and programming changes
- 5 year's experience acquired through apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance related field
