Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting on plant mechanical systems and production equipment (including fillers, processing, packaging, robotics, and automation). Supports manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment operates reliably and efficiently to minimize downtime. Requires strong mechanical and technical skills, attention to detail, safety compliance (Lockout/Tagout, GMP), good problem-solving abilities, and effective teamwork with a commitment to continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman Card or 4+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, diagrams, and drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and logical troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English, including safety and operating procedures
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on call as needed to support production
- Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practices
- A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn new equipment and skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture
