Job Summary
Quality Packaging is seeking a 1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills for preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment. Must have a high school diploma and at least 5 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, 5 years equivalent experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
- Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office
- Experience with C.M.M.S. software (Preventive Maintenance/Work Order distribution systems)
- Understanding encoders and equipment timing
- Knowledge of Servo drives and motors
- Variable Frequency drive operation and configuration
- Basic knowledge of logic software
Desired Qualifications
- Some college is desirable
- Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal, is considered an asset
