Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Technician responsibilities include performing repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facility while following GMPs and safety standards. Duties include installing, adjusting and repairing blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment; performing mold, neck tooling changes, pin changes; inspecting and replacing pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves, and pumps; conducting preventive maintenance; welding, fabricating, and repairing various machines; troubleshooting root causes and repairing blow mold, baggers and support equipment; may operate blow mold or injection machines; coordinating with other departments; and adapting duties by plant as needed. Requires basic math/computer skills, knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics, and adherence to safety regulations; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirements: Basic mathematical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Preferred: 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing
- OSHA Forklift certification
