Job Summary
Complete all designated maintenance or repair of production equipment and building systems with moderate to high complexity on an independent basis. Diagnose and make complex repairs while maintaining proficiency in at least one building trade, electricity, pneumatics, or hydraulics. Perform work productively and safely, adhering to physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and working overhead. Work mandatory overtime or respond to emergency calls as needed. Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 40 hours weekly, with overtime at time and a half and a second-shift premium. Earn a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Basic understanding of the fundamentals of electricity
- Able to diagnose and make complex repairs on equipment
- General knowledge of all building trades
- Basic understanding of pneumatics
- Basic understanding of hydraulics
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Good interpersonal skills/team player
- Ability to perform work productively and safely
- Reliable; good attendance
- Ability to work mandatory overtime or be on emergency call as needed
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
- Schedule Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM – 40 hours/week
