Job Summary
Maintain continuous production by repairing and maintaining machinery across Processing, Harvest, Warehouse, Rendering, Yards, or groundskeeping departments. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, welding, and conveyor maintenance while troubleshooting daily operational failures. Set up, adjust, and break down production line equipment, then complete required daily documentation. Communicate effectively with all employees and management to resolve mechanical issues and read manuals to ensure safe repairs. Work in inclement environments ranging from 20 to 100 degrees, including hot, cold, humid, icy, and dusty conditions.
Required Qualifications
- ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds
- standing 10-12 hours a day
- willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- willingness to work in inclement environment; hot, cold, humid, icy, dusty, etc. with temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to 100 degrees
- willingness to complete all required training for the job
- willingness to perform any other duties as assigned
- proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
- pass a urinalysis screening
- open to working any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and available for overtime
- basic computer skills
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to communicate effectively to all employees and management to resolve mechanical failures
- ability to read manuals in order to repair equipment safely
- 12 months of industrial work experience OR 6 months of continued education in at least two of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Plumbing, Welding, or Conveyor Maintenance
