Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment including conveyors, lifts, shuttles, robots, and ASRS systems. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while responding to breakdowns to restore operations with minimal disruption. Complete inspections, work orders, and repair documentation in the CMMS, then partner with Operations for clear shift-handover updates. Work afternoon shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Maintain safety compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives within this highly automated distribution facility.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Journeyperson Millwright certificate or recognized equivalent
- Red Seal endorsement
- At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation
- Practical experience with conveyors, power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, alignment, and precision measurement
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize competing breakdowns
- Ability to make sound decisions during off-shift operations
- Clear communication skills
