Job Summary
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing devices, listening for issues, and using precision measuring instruments to locate problem sources. Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and tools, then adjust functional components with hand tools and levels. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and maintain a safe, clean environment by complying with all procedures and regulations. Work in a refrigerated environment while safely handling chemicals per SOPs. Apply for 2nd and 3rd shifts at Fresh Mark's Canton facility; legally authorized for US employment required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be hard working

- Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
- Able to work in a refrigerated environment
- mechanically inclined
- Perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 40lbs, unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
- Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance
- Handle commonly used chemicals in accordance with SOPs and SDS
