Visually inspect and test machinery, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose malfunctions and discuss operation variations with supervisors. Conduct basic electrical checks on components including continuity, fuses, and switches, then dismantle defective equipment to install new or repaired parts. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, and gears, while installing and repairing motors, transformers, and electronic components. Lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, and repair gauges, valves, and pressure regulators. Operate machine tools such as grinders and drills to fabricate parts, and use cutting torches or welding equipment to join metal. Perform duties as a Production Operator when required and maintain the physical structure of the establishment. Wear appropriate safety equipment and company uniforms to comply with sanitation standards.
