Job Summary
Install and relocate production machinery such as lathes, drill presses, and milling machines; diagnose malfunctions, disassemble, replace parts, and fabricate repair components. Perform preventive maintenance including checking, oiling, and adjusting equipment while adhering to ISO 9001:2008 standards. Work from drawings, schematics, and work orders to complete repairs on heating, ventilating, and plumbing systems. Inform supervisors of faulty equipment and maintain all production records and job cost accounting reports. Operate forklifts and diagnostic computers as needed. Night shift with $1.00 premium; $29.00 hourly rate.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift and material handling equipment
- Ability to lift a maximum of 75 pounds as needed
- Ability to operate a LAN computer or laptop for diagnostic troubleshooting
- Satisfactory Maintenance skills assessment
- Satisfactory completion of Maintenance Electronics training
- Completion of Bennett Mechanical Assessment with 75% accuracy
- Completion of T.A.P. Assessment with 70% accuracy
- Completion of Basic Math Assessment with 80% accuracy
- High school graduate or equivalent
