Job Summary
Maintain and repair ready-mix plant equipment, including power transmission components, conveyors, and pneumatics, to support safe, reliable operations. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective repairs while conducting preventive maintenance inspections and welding as needed. Track repairs and downtime schedules using company technology and communicate priorities with plant personnel and dispatch. Follow all safety requirements and wear provided PPE while working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Early mornings, some Saturdays, and extended hours during peak season apply.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in an industrial or mechanical maintenance role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with power transmissions, conveyors, controls, and pneumatics
- Welding experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong follow-through
- Safety-minded, detail-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with plant teams and maintenance teammates
- No DUI/DWI/OWI in the last 5 years
- A commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and willingness to complete drug/alcohol screenings
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years in an industrial or mechanical maintenance role
- Electrical/PLC troubleshooting experience
- Ready-mix/aggregate industry experience
- Automation exposure
