Job Summary
Conduct maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and modification of new and existing industrial manufacturing equipment while documenting and executing procedures. Inspect, replace, and repair worn or failed parts, and install mechanical upgrades or relocated equipment to OEM specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure all safety systems comply with OSHA lock out tag out regulations. Work within a manufacturing maintenance team following safety policies and procedures. Minimum one year of industrial maintenance experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in industrial maintenance mechanical work in a manufacturing environment
- Able to work from verbal or written instructions with a strong desire to be hands on with their work and to follow policies and procedures
- The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures
- Problem solving skills including troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
- Working knowledge of OSHA lock out tag out regulations
- Knowledge and practical use of basic mechanical tools
- Successfully passing a drug screen
