Job Summary
Inspect wiring, make repairs, and troubleshoot all plant equipment as necessary. Respond urgently to all maintenance needs to ensure plant operations run smoothly. Completely learn existing and new equipment within the plant. Perform other projects as necessary. Maintain proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical wiring, and carpentry while managing inventory for a wood pallet manufacturing facility. Work the first shift Monday through Friday in Jacksonville, FL.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience handling Production Automation Equipment
- Experience with basic plumbing
- Experience with basic electrical wiring
- Experience with basic carpentry
- Low Voltage Electrical experience
- Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
- Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
