Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and installing manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a carbon graphite manufacturing environment. Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment, including CNC machines, industrial ovens/furnaces, hydraulics, pneumatics, dust collection, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mechanical drives. Reads mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints; installs and aligns motors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, and related components; performs welding, fabrication, and basic machining; troubleshoots electrical controls and collaborates with electricians. Maintains maintenance logs, supports machine installations and facility improvements, and follows OSHA/lockout/tagout and PPE procedures. Requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting, strong mechanical troubleshooting, and a high school diploma or GED; OSHA certifications and technical/trade training are preferred. This role is located in Ossining, NY.
