Job Summary
Maintain and troubleshoot a UPS package handling facility as a BaSE Mechanic. Perform troubleshooting, adjustment, and replacement of AC/DC electrical equipment (batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, timers, servo drives, encoders), inspect/repair mechanical components (motors, conveyors, bearings, belts), and work with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance on plant equipment (conveyors, bulk carts, power industrial equipment). Must be available for 1st–3rd shifts in a 24x7 operation; electrical assessment required. Compensation reflects labor cost across markets; starting pay is $34.67 per hour with benefits including 401(k), health coverage, paid leave, and stock purchase options. This role is permanent and U.S. based.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong electrical background and ability to pass electrical assessment
- Maintenance experience with AC/DC electrical equipment, motors, conveyors, and related systems
- Welding, mechanical inspection and preventive maintenance capabilities
