Job Summary
Maintain, diagnose, and rebuild complex machinery using blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings while performing preventive maintenance and supporting production changeovers. Diagnose mechanical issues through visual, auditory, and operational inspections and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery components, using ERP systems to maintain accurate maintenance records. Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Plant leadership while strictly following safety, GMP, and food safety standards. This unionized role requires a licensed Industrial Millwright with 2–3 years of experience, all shifts, and mandatory union membership.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Industrial Millwright License
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- 2–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine tools
- Ability to pass a technical/mechanical aptitude test
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (lifting, climbing, standing, temperature variation)
- Availability for all shifts
- Union membership
