Job Summary
Conduct industrial maintenance at the Baltimore plant, performing repairs on conveyor systems, electric motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment using welding, cutting, and power tools. Troubleshoot machine failures to restore service, operate lift trucks and cranes for unloading and rigging, and execute preventative maintenance while documenting all work. Manage carpentry and plumbing tasks, maintain housekeeping, and adhere to safe rigging practices in a high-speed production environment. Requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with welding and mechanical drive components expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a high-speed production line environment
- Welding and cutting
- Pneumatics
- Mechanical drive components relating to conveyor systems as used in high speed production line environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in the above areas
- Strong electrical background
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer sponsored visa (work permit)
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school degree, vocational diploma, or completed apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
- Relevant trade certifications (e.g., Welding Certification, Crane/Rigging Certification, Forklift Operator License, or Journeyman Electrical license)
- Strong electrical background a plus
