Job Summary
Maintenance millwright role responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diverse industrial equipment (CNC machines, laser, plasma, robotic welding, painting, and craned-operated machinery) in a forestry-focused manufacturing facility. Requires an Industrial Mechanic Millwright license. Key duties include diagnosing machinery irregularities, replacing defective parts, improving equipment performance, and collaborating with a team to ensure safe, efficient operation. Shift: 2:00pm–12:30am; shift premium $3.00/hour. Location: Brantford, ON. Benefits include health care, RRSP matching, training reimbursement, and employee assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Millwright in the province of Ontario
- Previous Millwright experience in an industrial setting
- Mathematical aptitude
- G2 Gas Technician Certification is an asset
