Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical problems involving production machinery and facility equipment while performing preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime. Inspect equipment for worn components, replace bearings and motors, and read manuals or schematics to guide repairs. Respond to breakdowns, assist with installation and startup, and document all activities while adhering to safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements. Full-time hours with pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around machinery
- Ability to lift and move tools, parts, and equipment as required
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, or fabrication experience
