Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial production equipment, packaging machinery, conveyors, and utility systems while performing preventive maintenance to support manufacturing uptime. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system issues, including PLC troubleshooting and automation equipment, to reduce downtime and improve performance. Complete maintenance work orders, parts usage records, and PM documentation while adhering to GMP, food safety, lockout/tagout, and OSHA requirements. Partner with production and operations teams to assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and production changeovers in a food and beverage environment.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, production, food, beverage, or similar environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, diagrams, and maintenance instructions
- Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be available for 2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 2:00 PM-12:30 AM
- Must be located in Middlebury, VT
Desired Qualifications
- PLC experience, especially troubleshooting or programming experience
- Candidates with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills experience preferred
