Job Summary
Perform all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on high-speed filling, packaging, and labeling equipment including fillers, cappers, sealers, labelers, coders, and vision systems. Execute repairs, adjustments, setups, and rebuilds of manufacturing machinery such as palletizers and conveying systems using hand tools, power tools, welders, and shop equipment. Maintain assigned tools, plant systems, and machines while conducting inspections, calibrations, and certifications on ancillary equipment. Read schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot plant utilities, hydraulics, pneumatics, and steam systems. Operate a rotating 12-hour day shift schedule from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm at the Columbus, Ohio plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- two-year mechanical/electrical technical degree
- equivalent experience
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical repair of high-speed filling and packaging equipment
- Experience performing predictive and preventative maintenance
- Experience with Allen Bradley
- PLC's Rockwell
- Troubleshooting and repair of plant utilities
