Job Summary
As an Industrial Maintenance Instructor at TSTC, you will be responsible for delivering approved curriculum and assessments in an applied learning environment. Your role includes facilitating engaging activities, providing targeted mentorship to students, and effectively integrating technology into instruction. You will also prepare course syllabi, maintain accurate student records, and collaborate to enhance student retention and success. Essential skills required include strong electrical and programming expertise, as well as knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and control systems. The position calls for a commitment to student advisement and participation in program recruitment.
Required Qualifications
- Verifiable work experience with industrial equipment
- Strong Electrical/programming Skills
- Working knowledge of Electrical Motor Control Systems
- Working knowledge of Electrical Motor Control Schematics
- Working knowledge of Maintenance of Industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of Mechanical Power Transmission systems
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of basic fluid power (hydraulic and pneumatic) systems
- Working knowledge of basic PLC operation and programming
- Working knowledge of programming electrical speed control systems (AC/DC Drives)
- Working knowledge of basic machining and welding
- Related teaching experience
