Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on saws, forklifts, cranes, and machine shop equipment to sustain plant operations. Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and PLC controls to repair electrical systems and electronic devices, including 480V power distribution. Weld mobile equipment and maintain clean, safe work areas while keeping repair records compliant with OSHA standards. Train staff on forklift and LOTO procedures and coordinate with outside vendors for specialized support. Manage supply ordering and interact with operations personnel to resolve equipment failures efficiently. Requires strong math skills, blueprint reading, and ability to work weekends and be on call.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Able to work weekends
- Ability to travel
- Ability to be on call as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in industrial maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities including but not limited to troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, PLC's, overhead cranes, and welding
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Some Computer Skills: Word, Excel, EPR Systems
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently and make decisions
- Ability to read machining blueprints
- Self-starter. Ability to work without guidance
